2. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is extremely important to us. Select-Predator is designed with data protection and user privacy in mind.

Data Collection & Processing

• AI Processing (Google Gemini API): To generate summaries and preemptive insights requested by the user, the text or URL shared via the Share Extension is transmitted securely to the Google Gemini API (Google LLC).
  • The data transmitted consists strictly of user-selected text, shared URLs, and public webpage metadata (title and description).
  • This data is processed in real time solely to fulfill the summary request. It is never stored permanently on our external servers, nor is it linked to your identity or used for tracking.
• Webpage Metadata Retrieval: When a public URL is shared, the app directly fetches public title and Open Graph metadata from the target webpage to produce accurate summary context.
• No Analytics / No Tracking: We do NOT collect, store, or transmit any analytics, tracking data, or diagnostic logs to external servers or third-party advertising networks.
• Personal Information: We do NOT collect, store, or sell any personally identifiable information (such as your name, phone number, email address, or physical location).

Data Security

All communications between the app and external services (Google Gemini API and public web endpoints) are strictly encrypted using HTTPS/SSL protocols.
